Starboy was delighted to visit his new school, and make a new friend there, while the mommies chatted about school business. His friend braved the chicken coop and claimed the single brown speckled egg of the day, and graciously shared it with Starboy, who was thrilled. Despite being pecked by the chicken at lunch, which scared the daylights out of him. Chickens are pretty big when you're only a few feet tall yourself.
I boiled the egg and turned it into two little Sunfish sailboats with cheeddar sails (thanks, Pinterest!), which I thought he'd be crazy for, with a recent interest in boats. But...notsomuch. Ah well. They looked cute!
